Christopher Bailey is a genius. In all seriousness, I am always totally amazed at how he has managed to evolve the label from simple conservative to being an extremely cutting edge fashion forward brand-all while still staying managing to stay true to Burberry’s heritage. This season was far from disappointing. Quite the opposite actually. With a bright colorful palate and extremely sleek silhouettes, the collection was a breath of fresh air from the more muted and darker hues we’ve seen in seasons past. I really loved his take on layering a suit with a cool infinity scarf and how he added some really playful sunglasses to add a small dose of kindergarten silliness to fairly serious structure. It’s like one part business class CEO-one part Devo. I loved it. Keep em’ coming Chris!
